on Thursday, September 10th. Susan spoke of her work as a Maryknoll lay missioner in Kenya.

The Congolese Choir is looking for a person who can play the keyboard and who is available Saturday from 5:30 pm to 7:45 pm, and maybe some Sundays at 11:30 am for practice with the choir. They meet in the Parish Center usually, but during this construction period, are meeting in a parishioner's home.

Congolese Community Health Fair
You are invited to join us at the Congolese Community Health Fair to learn about common health conditions, health screenings, and more! Services provided include:
--free flu shots--provided by Walgreens for those who qualify.
--blood pressure screenings
--breast cancer risk assessments
Health professionals will be ready to provide information on topics such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, women's health and more. Other organizations to be present include Head Start and east Central Illinois Refugee Assistance Center.

Thanks to everyone who came and supported the SVdP Food Pantry Walk for the Poor
on Saturday September 26. We had a great turnout of walkers and we were blessed with good weather. The walk raised over $5,500.00 for the Food Pantry. Thanks for all your prayers and support!
