Saint Vincent dePaul Society
The St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP) at St. Patrick supports a Food Pantry made up of men and women who answer Jesus' call to serve the poor. On weekday afternoons (Monday-Thursday 4:30 - 5:00p.m.) members give out food to our Friends who come to the parish center. Lots of "behind-the-scene" work is done by SVDP members making it possible for the other members to distribute food on those afternoons.
In the Fall, Thanksgiving baskets are delivered to local residents.
In collaboration with other parish ministries, SVDP also hosts a dinner in unity with the Friends of the food pantry.
