All parishioners share in the parish’s music ministry through their full and active participation in parish liturgies. The parish music program welcomes all who desire to guide and support the sung prayer and praise of the assembly.

The parish adult choir sings at the 10 am mass, except the first two Sundays of the month from Sept-May, when there are children's liturgies. When this occurs, the parish adult choir sings at the 8 am mass. The choir sings in variety of styles, including chant, choral anthems, and contemporary songs, and is accompanied by organ, piano, guitar, and other instruments. Rehearsal on Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 pm in the church.
Cantors lead the assembly in song at all parish liturgies. This includes announcing the hymnal numbers, singing the Responsorial Psalm, leading Eucharistic Acclamations, and teaching new music as needed.
The funeral schola provides music at parish funeral liturgies, usually on weekday mornings. Rehearsal on first and third Wednesdays of the month, 9:30-10:30 am in the church.
The children’s liturgy ensemble is a group of adults and children who lead music at children’s liturgies and on special occasions. The group focuses on music that helps young children to recognize God’s love for them and to make a joyful response in song and in gesture. Rehearsal before each children’s liturgy and as announced.

The Congolese choir prepares music in French, Lingala, Kinkongo, Latin, and Greek. They sing at the 12:00 noon mass and for special occasions. They meet for rehearsal and prayer Saturdays at 5 pm in the parish lounge.
The Congolese Choir is looking for a person who is available to play the piano for rehearsals on Saturdays from 5:30-7:45 pm in the parish center lounge.

The bell choir rings for a variety of Masses throughout the year, as well as on special occasions. Rehearsals as announced.

The children’s choir offers a chance for young people to sing, pray, and have fun! The choir welcomes all children from second grade and up; music reading skills are not necessary. The group sings at about one Mass per month and on special occasions. Rehearsal on Wednesdays, 5:15-6:00 pm in the church.

Saint Patrick’s Youth Orchestra is open to any student from grades 7-12. The group is student-led and provides a welcoming and positive atmosphere for young musicians in the Champaign-Urbana area. Click here for more information.
